Storm Classic Tournament Information

All, the schedule has been posted for the tournament.  Unlike most others, due to stipulations with the limits on games played at NCAA certified events, we will only be scheduled for 2 pool play games.  All teams will make the bracket games and most (over 75% according to the GR Storm) will play a minimum of 4 games.  The top 16 teams in each group will make the “Platinum Bracket” and guaranteed 2 games in the bracket (win or loss).  The 1st round losers in the platinum bracket will drop down to a gold bracket where they will have their own 8 team tournament.  The brackets will not be posted until tomorrow so we will have more information then.  That said, our pool games are as follows:

Brackets schedule

Remember that because this a NCAA-Certified event, there will be areas designated only for college coaches.  No players, aau coaches, or fans can go in those areas.  Young men, resist the temptation to run up and talk to a coach…it is a NCAA violation to do so.

I Corinthians 9:24-25 (MSG)- “You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race.  Everyone runs; one wins.  Run to win.  All good athletes train hard.  They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades.  You’re after one that’s gold eternally.”
